The Occasional Folk Club
For the time being these sessions will operate ...

second Sunday of the month, at Chidham & Hambrook Village Hall, 2.00pm onwards.
We are a gathering of enthusiastic folk who enjoy performing, sharing, and listening to live music in friendly company.
We accommodate all genres of acoustic music, performed by the participants in some semblance of order.
(Call it a singaround!)
We do not hire guest artists. Nobody gets paid!
Be not discouraged by that term 'folk'.
Anything goes. We are all folk, after all!
There is no pressure for anyone to sing or play.
Listeners are welcome.
Bring your own beverages.
You do not need to book; just come along.
Events are publicised locally and circulated to regular attenders on our mailing list.
There is no formal membership.
We are a not-for-profit organization.
To cover the cost of hiring the hall we invite a contribution of £2.00 per person for each session.
Any excesses are donated to charity.
